Notting Hill Carnival

This celebration of Caribbean culture takes place on August bank holiday weekend (27th-28th August) and is filled with music, dance, food, and costumes; with a colorful parade winding its way through the streets. The Notting Hill carnival guarantees a lively party atmosphere, and is a great way to experience the diversity of London’s community.

BBC Proms

If classical music is more your thing, don’t miss the BBC Proms. Held over several weeks in the summer until 9th September, this world-famous festival features a packed schedule of orchestral and choral concerts, recitals, and other performances. Many of the concerts take place at the Royal Albert Hall, just a short five minute stroll from B&L, with other events often held at other venues around the city.
