This celebration of Caribbean culture takes place on August bank holiday weekend (27th-28th August) and is filled with music, dance, food, and costumes; with a colorful parade winding its way through the streets. If classical music is more your thing, don’t miss the BBC Proms. Held over several weeks in the summer until 9th September, this world-famous festival features a packed schedule of orchestral and choral concerts, recitals, and other performances.
