Stylish and refined, undoubtedly sophisticated. A curious story attached to the home. You are about to discover Villa Minerva.
This Villa holds a great deal of history, it is built on the site of an old Roman home, dating back 2,000 years. Remains of the original foundations are still visible on the ground floor with the splendid walls and the inspiring cave, an essential passageway for carrying water from the springs. It is said that a recently-married aristocrat was invited by Augustus to his residence. Once in Sorrento, his beautiful noble wife was enchanted by the magical surroundings and requested that her husband build a summer residence there as a wedding gift. And so this Villa came to be.
Villa Minerva is spread across 180 m² overlooking the waters below. The terrace is undoubtedly the best location to see the water glisten in the sunlight as you soak your surroundings. Just stone’s throw away the sandy beaches call your attention. We’ve taken care of the towels for you.
The villa can accommodate up to 9 people and is fitted with air conditioning, underfloor heating, and a romantic fireplace for the winter. For the moments where the muscles need a break, the hydromassage bath is ready for duty.
When the sun sets, an Aperol Spritz is a must. A Sorbet sunset over the horizon. You’ll hear the faint laughs of the locals in the distance as they sip on Limoncello.
