The Concept

This November, Rosewood London unveils The Terrace, a year-round dining experience, with a new menu inspired by each of the seasons. The inaugural season is Winter, lasting from November until February, where guests can enjoy sipping on spiced Somerset cider, hot buttered rum and mulled wine whilst sitting on heated benches.

The Space

The luxurious garden setting has been transformed by award-winning landscape designer Luciano Giubbilei and in collaboration with Nathalie de Leval, independent furniture designer. Reminiscent of an English garden, The Terrace is surrounded by flowering plants that will grow through the winter to reveal lush greenery for the spring and summer seasons, which together with the soft lighting create a stunningly intimate and private atmosphere.

The Cuisine

Created by London restauranteur Des McDonald, the à la carte menu is inspired by the unique flavours of each season with the ingredients being, of course, seasonal with many of the vegetables and herbs grown in Rosewood London’s very own rooftop garden.

Menu Highlights

The Terrace: Winter will feature sharing hotpots, including roast Aylesbury duckling with peppered cabbage and The Terrace: Spring menu will include British spring classics such as seared lamb with young turnips. Come June, The Terrace: Summer will feature a raw bar with seasonal shrimp and oysters on offer and from September, the menu will see pumpkin meatballs and ginger beer floats.
